The transfer registration dates are listed below under the college for your respective major. Click on the date to complete the reservation form. Once the reservation form is submitted, you will receive an email with information on setting up an appointment time with an advisor.

  • Transfer Registration Information Letter

    Dear Student,

    Registration for Fall 2017 transfer students will be held in the summer months.

    Each academic college will hold four registration sessions. During the registration sessions, academic advisors will be available to assist you in completing a schedule for the fall semester.

    Please complete your registration online at Upon registering for your request registration date, you will we receive an email confirmation with a telephone number and or email to set up your appointment for registration.

    After meeting with an academic advisor to complete your schedule, you will report to Enrollment Services Center located on the first floor of Shaw Hall Room 121, to enter your class schedule through our on-line registration system (WINS).

    While on campus, you can have your picture taken for your student identification card (College Union-Downstairs). This would also be a good time to speak with Financial Aid and Housing to finalize arrangements, if necessary.

    We will also have our regular registration for those students still needing to register for the Fall semester on Monday, August 21st from 7:30a.m.-8:30a.m.

  • Transfer Clearance Form (PDF)

    The Transfer Clearance Form is a non-academic report form for students wishing to transfer to West Liberty University.  Completion of this form is required before the student can register for classes.  This form must be submitted after enrollment is completed at your previous institution.


    Please complete Section A and then forward the form to the Dean of Students Office at the last college or university which you attended.  After Section B is completed by the Dean of Students Office at the last college or university which you attended, that institution must return the form to the following mailing address:

    NOTE: Any prospective transfer student whose background is found to include conduct proscribed by the Student Code of Conduct will have his/her application reviewed by the Dean of Students before a final decision on admission is made.
